Softwave Therapy

SoftWave Therapy, aka Extracorpeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), uses electrohydraulically produced soundwaves to accelerate the natural healing process. We use this device to identify and treat areas of the body that may be acute or chronically inflamed, have soft tissue damage due to new or old injuries or lack normal adequate blood flow. When applied to the body, the softwaves create a slight discomfort in areas that are inflamed or need healing, whereas in areas that are normal, there is no response. This helps the doctor identify the most problematic areas, so we concentrate and heal the most optimal areas.

SoftWave Therapy initiates innate healing, decreases inflammation, improves blood flow and activates stem cell healing. Most people feel immediate changes to their pain level and/or range of motion within their first treatment session. Although healing does take time, so an initial regenerative protocol of 4-8 treatments is usually recommended to maximize the healing to the area being treated.

SoftWave can treat an array of physical injuries or conditions such as:
